Weight Loss Results Week #12

I’m feeling good about my weight loss and I feel like doing a happy dance!

I weighed in at 182 today!  I have now had three weeks of consistent weight loss, which has been the best I have had since I started.  So yay!

I also took my measurements and I have lost 6 inches since I started taking my measurements.  WOW!  This past week I lost 2.5 inches alone.  I think I am more pleased with that than the weight loss itself!  I think the difference was that I started to get back into my workout mode.  The toe is better, still tender, but I can do my workouts…more on that to come.

So, today is a good day…a happy dance day!

I 2nd Those Measurements…

Ok, so after the past few weeks of disappointment on the scale I didn’t want to further torture myself by whipping out the measuring tape and then I’d be all like…

This week I was intrigued not only because of the food poisoning episode but because I didn’t feel any difference in my clothes and was surprised by the weight loss.  I honestly thought I hadn’t lost anything and maybe gained a pound.  After taking my measurements I have lost  2.25″ overall since May 17th.   I am taking that with a grain of salt for two reasons:

  1. Because of the food poisoning my body isn’t operating as usual
  2. I am not sure I am putting the measuring tape in the same spot to give me accurate measurements.  This time around I did make notes where I measured so I can be more accurate next time.

Time will tell on this one!

Guess who is armed with a measuring tape? And I’m not afraid to use it!  Ok, maybe a little bit…

Knowing my weight loss isn’t enough now.  I want to know the inches lost so I can have a better understanding of  why my shirts are fitting better now.   In other words, how else can I drive myself batty on a weekly basis?  Haha!

Ok so here goes the inital measurements:

  • Waist: 40″
  • Belly: 48″
  • Hips: 47″
  • Thighs: L  25 1/2″  R  24 1/4″
  • Calves: L  15 1/4″   R  15 1/2″
  • Arms:   L  13 1/2″    R 13 1/4″
